NBA star Kevin Durant discussed relationships and gave an unusual insight into his private life in the lead-up to Team USA’s Olympic training camp.

The Phoenix Suns forward discussed his past heartbreaks and spotting “baddies” during games in a new episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.

Usually reserved off the court, Durant broke his silence in response to co-host Mike Majlak’s question on his lack of a girlfriend. Why? Because Durant stated as much throughout the interview. “There are times and moments for me.”

Monica Wright, a former member of the Minnesota Lynx, was Durant’s last known romantic partner, and the couple were engaged in 2023. Reportedly, they crossed paths in 2006 during a high school All-Star game. But not long after that, they ended their relationship. “Yeah, I had to make a decision about compromising myself as a woman in my last relationship [with NBA All-Star Kevin Durant],” Wright told Essence in 2014.
