Despite the Phoenix Suns’ insistence that their top player would not be traded, Kevin Durant’s status with the organization has taken yet another turn.

The Suns forward was questioned a lot on trade rumors after there were rumors of turmoil in the locker room.

But Durant denied the allegations once new coach Mike Budenholzer took over, even though there are still concerns about his happiness with the squad that plays in Arizona.

Even with the playful tone, Durant admitted that adjusting to Phoenix’s slower pace from New York’s fast-paced culture has been difficult, expressing that he misses some aspects of his Brooklyn Nets days.

“You know Phoenix, it was a different transition, tough transition, moving from New York’s fast-paced city lifestyle to slow down pace in Phoenix,” he said.

The Suns, whose postseason run was abruptly cut short in the first round of the playoffs last year, will be hoping for a much better 2024 campaign.
