Heart-warming gesture Blake Lively transforms into a Disney princess to bring joy to a group of children in need in an orphanage

Just days after shutting down the Met Gala, Blake Lively hosted Shutterfly’s Baby2Baby Mother’s Day celebration in NYC on Thursday.

The charity provides low-income families with basic necessities like clothing and diapers, and Blake channeled her inner Disney princess for the event. The mother of two looked pretty in pink as she read books to the kids and did some arts and crafts activities.

During the event, Blake also opened up about her own children, daughters James, 3, and Ines, 1. “I always want to make sure they’re present and they’re appreciative,” Blake told Vogue. “In order to be appreciative [of] what you have, you have to realize that it isn’t a given. We talk about how we’re very lucky, and even though we work hard, we need to be thankful. I don’t know if I’m doing it right, I’m sure I’ll take plenty of missteps, but I think it’s about being aware and being present.” Well said, Blake.
