His greatness has no bounds! If Simba, the newborn goat, has ears that measure 19 inches in length, he may be eligible for inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records

Some animals are born with abnormally large ears, much like the protagonist in the Disney film Dumbo. This trait serves to distinguish them from the others and adds to their unique charm. Big-eared creatures have the power to captivate audiences all over the globe and even make history.

One goat whose ears are incredibly long is currently trending and will stop at nothing to break the record, even if it means creating a new record.

An unusual and attention-grabbing feature of a juvenile goat named Simba from Karachi, Pakistan, has caused quite a stir in his native land: his gigantic ears, which measure 54 cm (about 22 inches), are sure to turn heads.

Pakistani media have taken notice of Simba, according to goat rancher Mohammad Hasan Narejo, who owns the animal. According to what he told AFP, Simba gained him extraordinary attention and achieved levels of recognition that most superstars only dream of in just one month.

“He has brought pride not just to Pakistan, but to me as well,” Mohammad told AFP.

“He won a beauty pageant and began making appearances in national and international media within ten to twelve days of his birth.”

Simba probably has the longest ears of any goat on Earth, according to Mohammad, and he wants to make that claim official. There isn’t a “Longest Goat Ears” category in Guinness World Records, though.

They have accepted our application,” the owner adds, adding that he has been coordinating with Guinness to confirm the record. The Guinness Book of World Records would send a team to Pakistan to measure its ears in around ten to twelve weeks, he said Times of India.

There must be a way for Guinness to create a new category for Simba’s ears, as they already have records for the longest ears of dogs, rabbits, bats, and even humans.

Simba is enjoying life to the fullest, becoming a local celebrity while he waits to be accepted into the record books. To keep his goat safe, Mohammad takes some spiritual precautions, and he uses special straps to protect his extraordinary ears.

“We swear on him and recite verses from the Quran to drive out evil spirits,” he said AFP. “We have tied a black thread around him that is strengthened with Quranic verses, following a long tradition that we inherited from our elders.”

According to reports, Simba is currently enjoying a “pampered existence” in Karachi, and his owner is certain that his star is only going to continue to rise.

The name of Simba’s Pakistan must be known all around the globe, Mohammad declared.

What a remarkable and unusual goat! Our hearts go out to Simba as he pursues his dreams and perhaps sets a new official world record.
