It is reasonable to conclude that Jayson Tatum’s fourth grade essay did not improve with each passing year. The NBA champion and Boston Celtics star posted a passage from an essay in which he imagines his future on Instagram stories. Even if he did achieve his goal of playing in the NBA, things haven’t exactly gone as planned.

 

 

Among the passages, Tatum mentioned that he would play for the Phoenix Suns before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. However, things worked out such that the Boston Celtics took him third overall in the 2017 NBA draft. Since then, he has played a crucial role for the team. Tatum published the essay with a straightforward caption for his fans.

When I was nineteen years old, I would have joined the National Basketball Association. Now I’m thirty years old. After six years with the Suns of Phoenix, Arizona, I’ll be traded to the Lakers of Los Angeles.In the same article, Tatum said that he was prepared to put in the time and effort necessary to make it to the NBA.

Additionally, he expressed his desire to compete for Team USA in the Olympics and his goal of winning three league championships during his career. So yet, he has only one title under his belt.
