Barca’s leaders and their stars recently visited Nou Camp.
The Nou Camp is currently under construction, ahead of its reopening. If all goes to plan, the stadium will open to spectators later this year.
Immediately after returning from Germany, Barca stars were taken to visit the Nou Camp stadium.
President Joan Laporta led the crowd into the building.
In a clear show of solidarity, everyone from players to the board, including Lamine Yamal, Gavi, Pedri, Hansi Flick, Joan Laporta, Deco all wore helmets and posed at the stadium.
Gavi seemed very excited about this visit.
Yamal, the hero of the Spanish team, was also very excited when he told the audience: “Come explore the inside of the Nou Camp stadium with me”.
Yamal was only promoted to Barca’s first team last year but has matured remarkably.
Meanwhile, coach Flick expressed his admiration to reporters: “Very cool, very surprising. I played at the old Nou Camp, I think around 1986. Now it’s very different.”
The board hopes the Nou Camp can be in use by the end of 2024, with around two-thirds of its permitted capacity.
The new stadium is estimated to have a capacity of up to 105,000 spectators. The project will also feature the largest roof in Europe.
