The life of a stranded whale weighing ten tons is saved after a 20-hour rescue mission

A 65-foot whale that washed up on a beach in China was, eventually, towed back into the ocean after a 20-hour rescue mission.

A substantial whale was recently discovered stranded in Ningbo City, located south of Shanghai.

It was apprehensive that it would succumb to dehydration if it was not promptly returned to the water.

Whales necessitate water to prevent overheating, despite the fact that they consume oxygen in the same manner as terrestrial animals.

Beached whales are also susceptible to drowning or succumbing under their own weight if their blowhole is obscured by high tide.

A rescue squad was despatched by firefighters, who sprayed water on the whale’s 20-meter body and constructed a seawater trench pool to preserve its life.

The whale, which was estimated to weigh ten tons, was assisted by volunteers in its movement.

The whale was dragged to shallow waters after the team secured it with guide cables.

A tugboat was dispatched to assist in the transfer of the whale to a more distant location in the ocean when the tide reached its highest point at approximately 10 p.m.

The rescue personnel successfully released the whale into the deep sea after breaking the hauling rope at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The authorities’ rescue operations and the creature’s successful release were documented by local media.

The whale was visible swimming into the distance as the dawn broke following the dramatic rescue operation.
