Enzo Maresca, the new manager of Chelsea, has made no slack in his efforts to fortify his team during the transitory phase in order to reclaim a spot in the Premier League’s top four.
He has already bolstered his Blues squad with centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo and central midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The latter was acquired from Leicester City, where the duo played a role in the Foxes’ instantaneous return to the top tier of English football.
The Italian will be anticipating that the duo will be able to immediately make an impact at Stamford Bridge, with the new Blues manager being particularly motivated to begin his duties immediately following his appointment during the off-season.
Maresca is still in search of a new forward to lead the line for Chelsea, despite the recent additions. A number of players have been linked with a high-profile transfer to the Premier League this summer.

Romelu Lukaku, who is currently a member of Chelsea, could be incorporated into a transfer for Osimhen; however, PSG currently hold the advantage over Maresca’s team in the pursuit of his signature.Nevertheless, his prospective transfer to the French team could trigger a domino effect, enabling the Blues to sign Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently a player at PSG.
Despite the fact that the Frenchman only arrived at the Parc des Princes for £75m in September 2023, journalist Graeme Bailey has verified that Chelsea has been offered the opportunity to sign him.
