Dingli Cliffs, the highest point of the Maltese Islands, are situated approximately 250 meters above sea level and are an ideal location to witness breathtaking sunsets and breathtaking vistas. They are situated on the island’s craggy western coast, with a view of the uninhabited islet of Filfla and the open sea on one side and picturesque terraced fields in the interior. You may either continue your hike on the Fawwara Trail or adhere to the well-marked walking trails. It is accessible via a boat journey from the village of Wied iż-Żurrieq. The caves are distinguished by a 30-meter archway and crystal-clear blue waters, which are a result of the mineral composition of the area. The limestone walls of the caverns are illuminated by the phosphorescent colors of the underwater flora, which pierce through the water on sunny days, casting bright shards of pink, turquoise, orange, and green. Malta’s national park Il-Majjistral is the island’s largest managed protected area, located near the village of Manikata on the northwest coast. The red sands and naturally formed dunes on the surrounding slopes of Golden Bay are gorgeously preserved and provide an ideal location for relaxation in the afternoon. Alternatively, you may choose to visit Il-Prajjet, a cove with crystalline waters located near Anchor Bay.
