During halftime of tonight’s WNBA All-Star Game, Caitlin Clark was seen having a heartfelt moment with Kobe Bryant’s family.
From courtside at Footprint Center, Kobe Bryant’s widow Vanessa and her three daughters watch the annual women’s basketball showcase, which features players like Angel Reese and Clark.
Kobe is survived by his 42-year-old wife Vanessa, as well as their children Natalia, 21, Bianka, 7, and Capri, 5, four years after the terrible helicopter crash that killed him and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna.
In Phoenix, where USA Basketball is playing Team WNBA, all four of his immediate relatives opted to get in on the action.

In 1999, while filming his music video, the two met and started dating.
They were married in 2001 after being engaged soon after Vanessa turned 18.
In January of 2020, a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, killed seven people, including Kobe’s daughter Gianna.
The plane crashed into a mountainside on the route from John Wayne Airport, which is close to Bryant’s house in Newport Beach, to Thousand Oaks, where he runs the Mamba Basketball Academy.
After Kobe’s father passed away earlier this week, Vanessa sent condolences and seemed to bring up her husband’s alleged quarrel with his parents.
Joe Bryant, Kobe’s father, passed away suddenly at 69 years old after a stroke, and the entire basketball community was in grief.
After her father-in-law passed away on Tuesday afternoon, Vanessa posted a condolence message to Instagram, perhaps expressing grief for her husband’s estrangement from Joe and their mother, Pam.
“Upon hearing the news of my father-in-law’s passing, we are sending our condolences,” she wrote.
We had hoped for a different outcome. He was kind and kind every time we saw each other, even though our time together was brief. Kobe had deep affection for him. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
