Honestly, I’m saddened by the announcement of Chelsea’s new training gear because it’s so much finer than the new home uniform.

Right present, the Blues are on a pre-season tour of the United States, continuing their preparations for the upcoming season. They play their first game of the season against Wrexham first thing tomorrow morning.

Reports indicate that the transfer of Nico Williams to Chelsea is still ongoing! ɀEven though most fans aren’t fans of the new home kit, it’s likely that it will be worn tonight.The newly-introduced workout apparel, as seen above, is far more appealing.

The rain jacket in particular gives it an air of retro coolness and makes the whole thing seem more refined.

The new home kit will never see my hard-earned cash, but I might splurge on a couple of these!

 

Former Chelsea manager Harry Redknapp should be seriously considered for the England position, according to Redknapp

One former Chelsea manager should be seriously considered for the position of England manager, according to Harry Redknapp.

Several ex-Chelsea managers are now unemployed, and the England managing position is open because Gareth Southgate has decided to resign after Euro 2024.

Mauricio Pochettino, Graham Potter, Thomas Tuchel, and Frank Lampard—Redknapp’s nephew—are all mentioned above.

Potter, the last of the quartet, was recently interviewed about taking over for Southgate, although he refrained from mentioning the England position.

He or any of the aforementioned individuals would be easy hires for the FA if they were unemployed.

Frank Lampard’s chances of getting the England job are low, according to Harry Redknapp.Even if Lampard or Steven Gerrard were to be considered for the England post, Redknapp would not give them the green light.

The former Premier League manager does, however, believe the Chelsea great deserves a shot at the job.Redknapp told talkSPORT: “I’m not claiming they’ll get it, there’s very little chance that they will even get an interview.” Lampard and Gerrard are two of my favorite players. Their competitions were tournaments.

This is why I’m going after two people that I hold in high esteem,” he continued. They competed at the highest levels of the sport, under the tutelage of world-renowned coaches, and were magnificent professionals who knew the game inside and out. Why should we disregard them?

If Eddie Howe, 46, leaves St. James’ Park to lead the Three Lions, Pochettino may take over as Newcastle manager. Howe is also rumoured to be a candidate for the England post.

Football Association’s likely to rank Frank Lampard lowThe possibility of Lampard being interviewed for the England position is not out of the question. Evidently, he has managerial experience in the Premier League and is well-versed in English football.

It would be surprising, though, if Southgate appointed him as his successor. Howe, Pochettino, and Tuchel are just a few of the great prospects that are currently in the running.

However, if England U21 boss Lee Carsley receives a dream promotion, Lampard may take over.

Such opportunities may not come Lampard’s way until he has repaired his career a little. His most recent two long-term employers, Everton and Chelsea, fired him. Even as caretaker manager for the Blues, he failed to make much of an impact upon his return.
