The 24-year-old has reportedly been added to the Red Devils’ summer transfer wish list by Football Transfers. Another player who could be considered by Old Trafford is Youssouf Fofana, a hero for Monaco who is reportedly ready to leave the Ligue 1 club during the current transfer window.
Supposedly available for roughly £59 million ($76 million), United have been linked with a deal for midfielder Manuel Ugarte of Paris Saint-Germain. The Red Devils and the Uruguayan allegedly have personal conditions in place, but they have not yet reached an agreement with the French champions.
United reportedly want to add another left back to their roster as Tyrell Malacia hasn’t recovered from missing all of last season and wasn’t even included in the team’s preseason tour of the US. They are interested in signing Marcos Alonso, a former Chelsea and Barcelona defender.Erik ten Hag will lead United’s preseason tour to the United States, where they will face Real Betis, Liverpool, and Arsenal in friendly matches. On August 10, upon their comeback, they will compete in the Community Shield against Manchester City.
In light of Tyrell Malacia’s extended absence, Manchester United should acquire Ferdi Kadioglu, a standout for Fenerbahce
It is being considered that Manchester United may bring in a new left back this summer.
Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are the Red Devils’ current alternatives for a specialist left defender, but Malacia hasn’t played for the club in over a year.
Due to a knee injury, the Dutchman had surgery last summer. His return to action has been delayed due to another setback he experienced during his rehabilitation.
Malacia is currently participating in an individual training program at Carrington, as recently disclosed by United; however, the Dutch international has not yet been given a suitable comeback date.
According to ESPN today, the club has reportedly begun looking for a new left back. If Aaron Wan-Bissaka is sold soon, another right back could be signed as well.
Our team believes that United should target Ferdi Kadioglu of Fenerbahce for a transfer. Kadioglu can play either fullback position with ease.
Bringing in Kadioglu as a fullback would be a brilliant move by Ten HagKadioglu scored three goals and assisted on five others in fifty-one games played for Fenerbahce in the previous season. He was most often used as a left back. The Turkish star won 60% of his duels and finished 85% of his passes. Impressively, he won two tackles every game and made 6.7 recoveries.
He can provide the ideal mix of offense and defense, as demonstrated by the 24-year-old. At left back, he would be an ideal replacement for Shaw, who has been out with an injury.
Concerns about Shaw’s health have plagued him ever since his devastating leg break in 2015. Ten Hag has come clean about his inability to play in all 60 games per season.
With his right foot, Kadioglu might give Diogo Dalot a run for his money at right back, especially if Wan-Bissaka decides to go in the next few weeks.
After last night’s 4-3 victory against Lugano in the first leg of the Champions League second qualifying round, Fenerbahce is demanding £29.5 million for the versatile star.
United may be able to negotiate a lower transfer fee with Istanbul heavyweights to sign him if Victor Lindelof agrees to join them. The Swedish international is a target for Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho’s pursuit of a reunion.
