Klay Thompson’s vacation is cut short for a touching cause

This week Klay Thompson turned from his luxury jet for paper planes. To assist his teammate Moses Moody, the Golden State Warrior star apparently cut off his vacation early.’

Jarrod Castillo of NBC Sports Bay Area claims Thompson surprised attendees of Moody’s Motivation One Foundation event held Friday in Little Rock, Arkansas.Thompson stayed around the next day for Moody’s youth basketball camp as well. He demonstrated some of his hops to the interested campers and even instructed them in hand-crafted, expert-level paper airplane throwing techniques.

Fans of warriors are well aware of Thompson’s obsession with paper planes. The sharpshooter has been seen to toy with them during postgame press conferences over the last few seasons. Not a memory those children will forget any time soon—learning about Klay’s paper aircraft technique up close and being able to toss them alongside him.

Long a franchise with a great winning culture are the Warriors. Last season, they had a few hiccups most famously with the offseason punch that shook Jordan Poole and the club.

Following a couple trades and free agent pickups, a rebuilt Golden State side is hoping to recover championship-caliber chemistry and wipe last season’s problems from memory. Thompson is clearly headed in the right direction when he is helping his younger buddy.
