At least if you live in the UK, Chelsea’s most recent over night training session in America has revealed three important observations.
With a 9pm kick-off UK time, the Blues play their next game on Saturday evening against Celtic. This follows The Blues’ 2-2 draw against Wrexham on their first pre-season match of the campaign early Thursday morning.
To get some momentum, Enzo Maresca and his team will be hoping to try and somewhat deviate from the previous performance and record a win on the board. The first pre-season game will always be a bit of a slog as the players dust cobwebs and rust during a protracted summer holiday.
Though there were some drawbacks as well as numerous positives to draw from the Wrexham game, the hard work never stops.Out in the States following Chelsea, content producer Feroze Ali has posted some observations from the most recent training session via his X account today (as shown above).
Ben Chilwell has been working with the wingers in what is an interesting observation that Feroze said suggests he could be tried on the left wing in the upcoming game.
James has kept training as a defensive midfielder inverted full back, as he did in the Wrexham game.
Marc Guiu, Noni Madueke, and Mykhailo Mudryk all looked excellent.
