Joining Chelsea for £48 million Due to his ailment, Estevao Willian is unable to play for the pitch

The 17-year-old was signed by Chelsea from Palmeiras earlier this summer for a total of €34 million (£28.7m), with an additional €23 million (£19.4m) due in add-ons.

Although Estevao will not arrive at Stamford Bridge until he reaches 18 in the coming year, Chelsea have already identified him as a talented attacker who might make an early impact on the first team.

After Estevao was substituted off in the second half of Palmeiras’ 2-0 loss to Vitoria on Saturday, Chelsea will be understandably worried about his future with the club.

Estevao is making a triumphant return this weekend after just recently overcoming strains to his left ankle and knee.

On the other hand, Estevao just got hurt again after he rolled his left ankle while attacking on the right wing for Palmeiras.

Before receiving assistance from Palmeiras’ medical staff, Estevao remained down for more than one minute. He had to get off the field on a buggy after being substituted so quickly.

On the sidelines of the pitch, Estevao spoke with the Palmeiras medical staff while covering his face with his shirt, clearly distraught.Palmeiras head coach Abel Ferreira expressed concern over Estevao’s injury following his team’s loss.
